Mini Forest

Mini Forest is one of Diya's favorite play parks. She does not walk however :) She wants me to lift her all along. The play area in the Mini Forest can however be improved.

Diya now knows to click a camera. She targets an image and takes a lot of pictures when she grabs the camera. Here is a snap of her favorite TV channel 'Chutti TV' . Diya thinks both Chutti TV and Pogo channel are the same. She will ask for Pogo...and we turn to Chutti..she will be all happy.

Diya's new 'sun glasses' bought in itsy bitsy shop. An 'investment' we made as Diya became restless when Sudha became busy in saree shopping in Kalamandi.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to ourlittle sweetie! We had a cake cutting on July 3rd so that Diya's cousins Avaneesh & Adarsh too have fun. We did one more cake cutting today. It was a low profile celebration as Diya is cranky due to cold and mild fever. Gayathri tried posting Diya's photo for 'வாழ்த்தலாம் வாங்க' (Birthday wishes programme) in the Sun Music channel. But we waited for the whole hour for her photo to appear. But no luck. In all, she enjoyed all the attention.

Monday Blues

Diya is all excited to leave to Chennai tomorrow. But somehow she was not too happy about going to school this morning. Monday Blues, baby?  She was nagging throughout. Dora DVD also did not come to our rescue. Evening, holiday thrill! Dancing all along, and singing all that she knows – almost coming out with a remix of nursery rhymes, tamil songs and her own lyrics(?!)

Diya is all mesmirized with Dora. (I was not aware of "Dora, the explorer". Yet, its a coincidence the previous blog was titled "Diya the explorer"). She shopped in Crossword, MG Road, and got a bag full of Dora specials. Its also Diya's first visit to MG Road and Brigade Road.

New school opens!

Diya's new school St.Pauls 0opens today. Diya is all excited to wear the new uniform, shoes, school bag, lunch box etc.

Summer Camp over; what next?

Diya seems to be saying "Dear parents, and new new teachers, I have done all that you have said. Tell me what is my next mission?". Diya went to Bannerghatta Park part of the summer camp activities and seem to enjoy well. Along with other wild animals, she seemed to have seen the 'bav bav'. You went all the way to the park to see the dog, baby?
