Today, we took Diya to a beauty parlour for summer hair cut. She was very cooperative and won the appreciation of the beautician.

The ad I liked
I saw this ad in Times of India today and I liked it - the concept and the words - very much. I can very well understand the anxiety of parents who are planning to put their kids in school.

School Time
Sudha just called me to update that Diya has admission into PODAR JUMBO KIDS.
When Anu told a few weeks back that Swara had got admission into school in NY, and that it was time for Diya as well, I kind of reacted that its too early for Diya to consider for school options. But the thought has gone into my mind, and resulted in various play home search. After finalizing the school , my mom identified today as the auspicious day for paying the admission. Looks like the school has very good facilities. Diya will start going to school from June. It is her thatha’s and paati’s responsibilities to drop and bring her back. Everybody is wondering what new skills (=adamant behaviors) she would learn from her batch mates. It is exciting to learn that Diya will celebrate her birthday with them.

Favorite place
Diya has a favorite place - the bottom most rack in the almirah. Looks like a five year old kid, right?
